BRAND DEVELOPMENT / OEM & ODM
OEM/ODM & Private Label Clothing Manufacturing
Turn a shirt, suit or workwear brief into an approved production specification. Clarify design inputs, sampling, labels and packaging before committing to a bulk order.

A clear brief makes a better first sample.
BERKAM supports OEM/ODM enquiries for corporate shirts, business suits and workwear. Bring a tech pack, an existing sample or an initial product brief. The starting material determines how much development and specification work is needed. Agree the manufacturing scope and approval responsibilities before sampling; a reference image alone is not a complete production instruction.
OEM: work from your specification
Supply measurements, construction details, materials and artwork. Review manufacturability and resolve missing details before the sample is made.

What to include in a clothing tech pack
| Document | Include | Approval purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Style and construction | Front/back drawings or clear reference views; collar, cuff, pockets, seams and trims. | Removes ambiguity about how the garment is assembled. |
| Measurements | Points of measurement, base size, size range and agreed tolerances. | Sets the fit reference for sample review and grading. |
| Materials and colour | Fabric composition requirements, swatch references, trim details and colour targets. | Allows availability and suitability to be reviewed. |
| Branding and packing | Artwork, placement, label copy, packaging and carton breakdown. | Connects garment production with the finished branded delivery. |
MOQ, price, sample timing, production lead time and shipping terms are confirmed for the specified styles, materials and quantities.
PROJECT WORKFLOW
Development gates before bulk production
Brief and feasibility
Define product scope, specification gaps and the requested quantity. Discuss the sample plan, development tasks and quotation assumptions.
Sample and revisions
Review the physical sample for fit, fabric, construction and branding. Consolidate comments into one controlled revision list.
Production approval
Confirm the final sample and documents in writing. Record material references and any accepted variations before bulk production.
Inspection and replenishment
Agree the checks, packing and dispatch scope. Preserve the approved version for later orders and review changes before repeating production.
BUYER QUESTIONS
Before you place an order
Can I start without a tech pack?
Yes, an initial brief or sample can start the discussion. Missing measurements, construction, material and branding details still need to be resolved before production approval.
Can BERKAM add my brand labels?
Private-label enquiries can include labels and packaging. Provide artwork, placement and required label wording so feasibility and the production scope can be confirmed.
What should a startup prepare first?
Start with one defined product, its intended customer, size range, quantity estimate, reference garment and delivery destination. A focused brief is easier to evaluate than an undefined full collection.
Are sampling time and MOQ fixed?
They depend on the garment, fabric availability, development work and order quantity. Request a project-specific sample plan and quotation.
