Construction / Project Teams
Construction Company Apparel for Office, Project and Site Teams
General contractors, civil and building contractors, MEP installers, fit-out firms, project managers and facilities builders span headquarters, client meetings, project offices and active sites. Separate branded apparel from PPE selected through the site risk assessment before setting the garment program.
Companies this program fits
For procurement, HR, project operations, EHS / HSE and site managers. Parallel projects should align sample versions, site PPE compatibility and replenishment before crews are issued garments.
- Building, civil, infrastructure and general contractors
- MEP installation, fit-out, facade and industrial construction contractors
- Engineering consultancy, project-management and facilities-construction companies
Garment mapping by role
This is a uniform-planning guide. Final styles depend on job tasks, climate, care, wearer fit and site rules.
| Garment | Recommended scope | Typical roles | Selection notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business shirts | Head office and project office | Head-office procurement, HR, project administration, client meetings and office-based engineering leads. | For commercial and project-office use. Anyone entering a site must still follow its clothing and PPE rules. |
| Business suits | Corporate-facing roles | Directors, tender teams, client presentations, headquarters and non-site meetings. | For business settings, not day-to-day site workwear. |
| Formal vests | Small reception group | Head-office reception, showroom, client events and brand hosts outside active work zones. | An ordinary formal vest is not a substitute for site-required high-visibility garments or other PPE. |
| Jackets | Project management and field roles | Site project managers, engineers, survey teams, supervisors and facilities maintenance. | Confirm compatibility with hard hats, harnesses, reflective PPE and local site rules; the garment must not impede movement or equipment. |
| Down jackets / coats | Cold-season outdoor roles | Winter project management, outdoor inspections, perimeter coordination and cold-region facility maintenance. | Check layering against PPE, weather, work movement and site equipment; warmth does not establish a protection rating. |
| Trousers / matching bottoms | Office and business roles | Head-office teams, client reception, tender meetings and project-office managers. | Dress trousers suit business environments; active crews need task- and PPE-specific work pants. |
Catalog fabric starting points
For project-management fieldwear, compare catalog C1–C9 T/C 65/35 utility workwear at 155±5 g/m² with D101–D106 stretch nylon at 150±5 g/m² (98% nylon / 2% elastane). Y001 lists a 150D mechanical-stretch nylon shell. These catalog descriptions do not establish construction PPE, waterproofing or high-visibility certification.
These references come from BERKAM’s 2026 workwear catalog and are starting points for sampling. Confirm final composition, weight, availability, sizing and performance against the project quotation, approved sample and supporting documents.
Safety and compliance boundary: This page plans company apparel; it is not a construction PPE specification. U.S. OSHA 29 CFR 1926.95 requires PPE to be designed for the work and properly fitted; 1926.201 ties flagger warning garments to Part 6 of the MUTCD. Follow the current law and owner requirements for each project jurisdiction. OSHA 1926.95 · OSHA 1926.201
Illustrative procurement scenario

Illustrative plan: a general contractor with building and MEP projects could use shirts / suits for headquarters and owner meetings, workwear / jackets for project-office and management teams, and independently specified safety helmets, high-visibility garments and protective footwear for each site based on its risk assessment. This is a planning example, not a completed BERKAM customer case.
Prepare before requesting a quote
- Separate corporate meetings, project offices, site management, subcontractor coordination and active work.
- Have EHS / HSE confirm hazards, PPE list, visibility, fit, layering and equipment compatibility.
- Distinguish branded uniform, weather outerwear and tested / certified PPE in the specification.
- Review samples with safety equipment on: reach, crouch, climb, movement and site cleaning.
- Pack by project, site, role and size; retain approved garment, logo and batch records for reorders.
Recommended rollout
- List roles, wearer counts, shifts, work zones and wearing seasons.
- Choose garment categories, fabric direction, care and safety boundaries by role.
- Confirm size charts, brand colors, logo method, identifier placement and packing labels.
- Review physical samples and representative sizes; assess PPE documents separately.
- Approve the bulk specification and retain site / department packing and reorder records.
Review BERKAM’s factory and quality process and the sampling and customization workflow.
Frequently asked questions
Do not assume so. If a site requires high-visibility warning garments, specify the product under local standards and verify supporting documents; an ordinary brand vest should not replace it.
Brand colors can be shared, while garment structure is planned by role: office and client-facing teams have business needs; site roles must first meet site clothing and PPE rules.
Start with site risk assessment, local regulations, layering, safety-equipment compatibility, movement and weather, then finalize fabric, pockets, length and branding.
